About Me.

Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, I’m a dedicated teacher who finds joy in shaping young minds. When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my dog, Valentino, who is like my child. I’m also passionate about weightlifting, sewing, and shopping—activities that keep me balanced and energized. Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find something here that inspires you!

Education

2018

Literacy
Furman University

At Furman University, I focused on literacy, diving into the complexities of reading, writing, and communication. My studies there equipped me with the tools to foster a love of learning and language in my students.

2015

Early Childhood Education
College of Charleston

At the College of Charleston, I specialized in early childhood education, where I gained a deeper understanding of how to nurture young minds during their most formative years. This foundation has shaped my teaching philosophy and practice.

1999-2005

Spanish Immersion Student

My love for language and culture started at an academy of languages, where I was an immersion student. There, I developed a deep appreciation for the Spanish language and culture, a passion that continues to influence both my teaching and personal life.
